Banner Professional Registry requires:

• A minimum of 1-2 years of hospital experience in the desired work setting
• Recent / current experience required (with the past year)
• 3 shifts or more per month commitment
• Current license and certifications
• Completion of post-offer Occupational Health physical assessment (including drug screen)
• Completion of employment, criminal and education background check

We are looking for Pharmacists for Banner facilities in the West Valley. The position requires an Arizona Registered Pharmacist certification as well as Basic CPR certification.

The ability to prepare IV mixtures, TPN, Chemotherapy & other special IV or injectable products is required

Computer experience is required

Performs pharmacist functions in a hospital or home care setting.

Requires pharmacy licensure in the State of Arizona and a degree in Pharmacy (advanced degree preferred) from an accredited College of Pharmacy. Must have minimum of 1 year hospital pharmacy experience. Must possess good organizational, problem solving and computer skills. Must possess good written and verbal communication skills for interfacing with all levels of Banner Health System staff, physicians, patients and other contacts. Must be able to use reference tools to evaluate patient care and answer questions posed by customers. Must have knowledge of computer software, particularly pharmacy system software, Microsoft applications and Pyxis.
