Toward our quality goal, we are seeking a high profile respiratory leader to manage our ventilator patients’ recovery and their care giving staff. This analytical and hands-on professional will lead the Respiratory Therapy Department while providing oxygen, therapeutic gas and mist inhalation to our patients.
This RT Manager will also oversee the work schedule, generate reports and prepare the annual department budget. Evaluate new equipment and techniques as well as update the department’s goals and objectives. Maintain and store equipment and gases in accordance with safety rules from the both the state and hospital. Direct the audit and any evaluations of respiratory care and promote staff education through keeping up-to-date on respiratory care new techniques and clinical innovation.
A Bachelor’s degree in RT or Administration is desired with current state license. RRT is required with BCLS and ACLS; an ACLS instructor designation is preferred. Three years of experience is needed in all aspects of cardiopulmonary services.
